Mod Name / Version: PM Export Mailer 7.2

Description: This allows users to select private messages from their list of private messages and click "Email PM" instead of "Delete" to receive a copy of the PM via email. It's an excellent tool to allow users to "archive" off their Private Messages before they are purged from your database.
Features:
- keep or delete the exported PMs
- export PMs in one big single email or separate emails
- removes PMs only after they were successfully passed to the mailer
- only emails in text format supported at this time

Ah .. I've been waiting for somebody to re-vamp this mod. Thanks Maze!

I just installed it, but somehow when I export, I only get my own messages from a conversation.

Okay, from delete.inc.php I removed and t1.USER_ID = ? from the query, and I removed the placeholder for it.

I also had an issue that users could not delete private topics anymore. Both just deleting, and deleting after mailing.

I'm away for the weekend, will play with it again next week.

yes, the sans buglets version is what I'm hoping for.
are you going to do one for 7.2.2 as well? just went through an upgrade, and probably wont go to 7.3 right away unless security fixes are in that version.

There are (minor) security issues covered in 7.3.

I don't know how easy it would for SD to release it for 7.2.2, that would be one major list of "how-to" for this hack.

lol, true.. it would be a very large modification to post here. i essentially wrote an entirely new mailer class and i don't think i can just post the code like that.

normally modifications are of the form: find this, change to this..

vs

replace the entire contents of xxxx..

so 7.3 is your best bet, if you want an overhauled emailing system, that not only does PMs, but the whole 9 yards.
